Ok, I’ve been back for over a week now, but I’ve been trying to upload all of my photos to meet all your demands for pictures! I’m going to post some here that have good stories to go with them, starting with the amazing safari cheetah pictures and videos……..Now, most people would be satisfied with just seeing African animals in person, but not our group. Oh no, we demanded more from our guides and boy, did they deliver!

It all started with this – an excited burst of Swahili over the radio and our guide zooming to this spot, then pointing and saying, “there’s a cheetah – it’s hunting.” And all of us grab for the binoculars for the chance to see the speck in the distance as more and more safari jeeps gather in our area. Eventually the cheetah runs away and disappears, much to our disappointment – but wait!

Over there, is that the cheetah coming towards us? And is that a gazelle in its mouth?????!!!!!!! At this point, general mayhem breaks out in the jeep with people dodging around each other, trying to get a picture. But as if that wasn’t exciting enough……….

The cheetah stops, drops the gazelle in front of it (right in front of our jeep), and starts to bark………..and then…………

The baby cheetahs arrive!!!!!

So cute, even with a blood mustache!
