Peace Concert, Nairobi

On our last weekend in Nairobi, we decided to visit the site of the former U.S. Embassy, which was bombed in 1998. The site is now a memorial park dedicated to those who died in the explosion. When we got there, there was a concert going on to support a peaceful resolution to the election violence.

While we were there, an impromptu dance contest broke out among some of the men in the crowd. Why don’t U.S. men ever just get up and dance????
