So today ruled, I finally felt a kick. What was very cool was the little one had been quiet for most of the day and then Meg pushed on her abdomen to see if she could get them moving around. I stuck my hand on her belly and after giving a little push myself they sent a thunderous shot in the direction of my hand and I now have a broken hand. Ok, might not have been that strong, but it was really cool to see the response from the baby. We might just have another sweeper in the family.
Here’s the latest photo:
And here’s a photo of me after shaving off the goatee for the first time in a year or so. Can’t wait to get rid of that 2nd something-er-other….

I know everyone likes the full-length pics better than the belly shots, but we were cleaning all day and I hadn’t showered, so I would only let Dave shoot my belly!
Doesn’t Dave look so much more like his dad and brothers without the facial hair?????
You really do look like your dad. Need to take the hat off to get the full picture of the new you.
from gram bigelow : I don’t remember what david looked like without the facial hair. i don’t remember the “baby face” “he has to take off some weight so he has to look like he used to look”
from penny: I love that baby face
and meggie: love the naked belly shot, i just actually touched the monitor to give my little l.b. a rub. and he/she didn’t give me a kick back. just wanted to let her/him know i said hello. love grammy
dig the hat
For those who are not “soccer literate,” the sweeper is the last defender before the goalie……Dave and I both played that position on our high school teams. We’re starting training young!
The hat is from being Fantasy Champ for 2008
Dave (you are SO cute!! liked you with the facial hair and without!!)
You keep saying “THEM.” Are you adding twins to the family!!!????
force of habit I guess since we always figured we’d end up with twins
